Life is for living, having fun and being happy. That's what everyone wants for their family and it's what we want too. Right from the start we've aimed to do business in a way that will help to spread a little happiness, to our customers, our suppliers, our local community, our farmers and of course their animals. And because we've chosen our suppliers and delivery methods very carefully, we've also taken away the worry of buying tasty fresh produce on-line.

Happy customers enjoy the tastiest fresh food

The quality of our produce and the reliability of our service are all important. We only supply meat, poultry and game from small family run farms, where animals are naturally reared and meat is properly hung, prepared and cut for a fuller flavour. We deliver by guaranteed next day courier in eco-friendly sheep's wool insulated cool boxes to ensure that fresh produce arrives on time and in perfect condition.

Fair trade isn't just for developing countries. By cutting the middle men and keeping it local, we make sure that our farmers and suppliers of gourmet foods receive a fair price for their produce and keep the largest slice of the profit.

Happy animals lead natural lives

All our family run farms are chosen for their commitment to animal welfare, sustainable agriculture and conservation. Cattle are free to roam and graze on quality pasture. Lambs have the very best quality of life in the clean air of the Dales limestone grasslands. Every farm is registered as farm assured and undergoes rigorous annual independent inspection, to make sure that every aspect of animal welfare and environmental care is of the highest standard. This traditional way of farming allows the animals to live as nature intended – happy, stress-free lives.

Happy communities keep thriving

There's always been a strong community ethos here in the Yorkshire Dales. People care about each other and help out in time of need. We're keen to make sure that the Dales remain a thriving community in which to live and work. We do this by:

• using local expertise wherever possible for everything from making the Paganum website easy to use to checking that our vehicles are in tip top condition to deliver delicious fresh produce on time.
• reconnecting local producers and consumers and helping farmers to market their fantastic range of traditional and rare breed produce on-line
• providing local hotels, B&Bs, restaurants and pubs with top quality meat and the most delicious breakfast bacon and special recipe handmade sausages to keep visitors coming back for more.
